Terms of Service
Last updated: October 21, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of https://freejsontoolshub.com and all tools provided on it (together, the “Website”), operated by Free JSON Tools Hub (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
1. The service
The Website provides free, browser-based utilities for converting, formatting, validating, comparing and inspecting JSON and related data formats, and other developer tools. The tools run in your browser; data you enter is processed on your device as described in our Privacy Policy. No account is required.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Website lawfully and not to:
- use the Website to process data you are not authorised to handle, or in violation of any law or third-party rights;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at scale, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or gain unauthorised access to the Website or its infrastructure;
- introduce malware or use automated means to access the Website in a way that places an unreasonable load on it;
- interfere with advertisements, or generate invalid ad impressions or clicks;
- misrepresent your affiliation with us or present the Website as your own service.
3. Your data and responsibility
You keep all rights to the data you enter. Because processing happens locally, you are responsible for the data you choose to use and for keeping your own copies. Do not enter passwords, private keys, production access tokens or other secrets into any online tool.
4. Accuracy of results
We work hard to make the tools correct and follow published standards, but conversions and generated output — including CSV, SQL, TypeScript, JSON Schema, YAML, XML, TOML, regular-expression results, decoded tokens and hashes — may not suit every case. You are responsible for reviewing and testing any output before relying on it, especially in production systems, financial, legal, medical or safety-critical contexts. A decoded JWT is not a verified JWT.
5. Intellectual property
The Website’s design, text, logos and code are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other laws. You may use the tools and their output freely for personal and commercial work. You may not copy or republish the Website or substantial parts of its content without permission. Third-party open-source components remain subject to their own licences.
6. Advertising and third-party links
The Website may display advertisements served by third parties such as Google, and may link to external websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, services or privacy practices.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Website and all tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Website or its output, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Because the Website is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim relating to the Website is limited to zero, or the minimum amount allowed by applicable law.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Website or your violation of these Terms.
10. Changes and availability
We may change, add or remove tools and features, or suspend the Website, at any time without notice. We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date shows the latest version, and continued use after changes means you accept them.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in India shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence give you the right to bring a claim locally.
12. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Website.
