Why developers use Free JSON Tools Hub
Private by design
Tools run locally in your browser. Nothing you paste or upload is sent to a server, logged or stored.
Instant results
No uploads, queues or page reloads. Output updates as you type, even for multi-megabyte files.
Standards-correct
Built on RFC 8259 JSON, RFC 4180 CSV, YAML 1.2, TOML 1.0 and RFC 7519 JWT — and tested with Unicode and edge cases.

What is JSON?
JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) is a lightweight text format for structured data. It is built from two structures — objects ({"key": "value"}) and arrays ([1, 2, 3]) — plus strings, numbers, booleans and null. Because it is easy for people to read and for every programming language to parse, JSON has become the standard format for web APIs, configuration files, log events and NoSQL databases.
Working with JSON every day means constantly reshaping it: pretty-printing a minified API response, finding the missing comma that breaks a config file, turning an export into a spreadsheet, generating types for a frontend, or checking what changed between two versions. This site puts a dedicated, well-tested tool for each of those jobs one click away.
Popular tasks
- Pretty-print JSON and find syntax errors with line numbers.
- Convert JSON to CSV for Excel, or CSV to JSON for APIs.
- Generate TypeScript interfaces or a JSON Schema from sample data.
- Compare two JSON files and see every change by path.
- Convert between JSON and YAML for Kubernetes and CI configs.
- Decode a JWT to check its claims and expiry.
How it works
- Open a tool and paste your data, drop a file onto the input box, or click Load sample.
- Adjust the options — the result updates instantly.
- Copy the output or download it as a file.
Frequently asked questions
Are these JSON tools really free?
Yes. Every tool is free to use with no sign-up, no usage limits and no watermark. The site may show ads to cover hosting costs.
Is my data safe?
Your data never leaves your device. All 19 tools run in your browser with JavaScript, so nothing you paste or upload is sent to or stored on our server.
Do the tools work on mobile?
Yes. The pages work in any modern browser on phones, tablets and desktops. Large files are easier to handle on a desktop computer.
Which JSON standard do you follow?
The validator and formatter follow RFC 8259 (strict JSON). Comments, trailing commas, single quotes, NaN and Infinity are reported as errors because standard JSON parsers reject them.
Can I use the output in commercial projects?
Yes. The output belongs to you. Please review generated code, schemas and SQL before using them in production.
